Thriftaholic is a community built on sharing amazing thrift-store finds. These guidelines help keep our community positive, helpful, and safe for everyone. By using the App you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.
1. Be Authentic
- Only post items you have actually seen at a thrift store, consignment shop, or similar secondhand retailer.
- Provide accurate descriptions, categories, and prices.
- Mark items as sold promptly when they are no longer available.
- Do not post items from regular retail stores, online shops, or items you are personally selling.
2. Be Respectful
- Treat all community members with kindness and respect.
- Celebrate others' finds — thrift culture is about sharing the excitement.
- Disagreements are fine; personal attacks are not.
- Do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
3. Keep It Safe
- Do not share personal information of others (phone numbers, addresses, full names) without their consent.
- Do not use the App to stalk, harass, or intimidate anyone.
- Do not encourage or glorify self-harm, violence, or illegal activity.
- If you feel unsafe because of another user's behavior, report it immediately and contact local authorities if necessary.

- Copyright infringement — content that infringes on another party's intellectual property rights.
- Impersonation — pretending to be another person, brand, or entity.

5. AI Scanner Use
- Use the AI Scanner for its intended purpose: identifying and valuing thrift-store items.
- Do not submit inappropriate, offensive, or illegal images to the Scanner.
- Scanner results are estimates — do not misrepresent AI valuations as professional appraisals.
